i make $12 everytime someone joins my telegram...

did the title catch your attention? well before we get onto the monetary side of things, i want to teach you a little bit about a CRUCIAL STEP you must take when building an audience on social media.

lets say you have built an audience of 10k followers on X, you’re monetizing effectively directly on it & making good money…

then one day you wake up and you find out that the unthinkable happened, your account got banned… no reason at all has been given, you’re simply banned and there is nothing you can do about it. (this happens)

if you did not funnel your audience to external channels before that ban, then farewell because you just lost EVERYTHING you have worked for. let me teach you how to avoid that…

HOW I FUNNEL THE VIEWER OFF-SITE

a common mistake people make when tryingto funnel their viewers into external channels is by simply plugging their telegram or newsletter…

“join my telegram: (link)” or “sign up to my newsletter: (link)”

trust me, noone gives a sh*t about your telegram or newsletter unless you give them a reason to… it starts with the content you post.

if you are not posting valuable sh*t that changes the way your viewer thinks about a subject they’re interested in, they won’t want to join your external channels in the first place.

it’s easy to build an audience when you’re a positive influence on their life by giving them new perspectives & ideas every single day.

whenever i post a valuable tweet and it does well, i put my telegram link in the replies and incentivize joining, for example:

this link got 1050 clicks - that’s 1050 people from which around 50%-75% joined my telegram channel…

this one tip alone will increase the view:join ratio, but the next step is where we’ll take it up a notch…

you must create a lead magnet that addresses a pain-point your audience has… for example:

create a free product that your audience will want, and incentivize engaging with the tweet to receive it…

this will do 2 things:

• boost the tweet in the algo

• & give you a list of leads

send a link to sign-up to your newsletter to everyone who replies & set-up an automation that sends the lead magnet to every new sign-up.

within the free product you should also incentivize joining another external channel such as your telegram or discord.

MY MONETIZATION STRATEGY

I don’t advertise my paid products directly through X to be quite honest. i only advertise through my telegram, email list & within my guides…

i simply give a ton of free value to everyone for free, and the ones who find value in what i say end up buying my products. it’s truly win-win…
